Use energising eucalyptus essential oil if you are feeling tired, run down or are prone to colds. It is best known for its fighting power against chesty coughs and colds and it has probably been used to rub many a chest over the years! It helps to clear the mind and focus concentration. It feels cool to the skin and yet warms the muscles.
Decongestant, antiseptic, expectorant, analgesic, stimulant, anti-viral, bactericide, febrifuge, rubefacient, muscle relaxer.

Use topically or aromatically, massaging into the chest, back and throat, inhaling from a steam tent, or dropping the oil on the shirt collar for Bronchitis.
Add 2 - 3 drops (depending on essential oil) into a teaspoon of honey, whole milk, vegetable oil or other dispersing/diluting agent then add to bath water once you are in the bath.
This method results in absorption through the skin, as well as inhalation of the volatilized essential oil.

Since essential oils are highly concentrated, most essential oils can not be applied directly to the skin without being diluted.
Do not apply on wounds, cuts or rashes. If found risky, stop using it.
Do not use more than 2-3 drops in each use.

Also best to avoid during pregnancy.
